Google Chrome Account Registration Issue

Public News Releases

UPDATE (September 16) -- Google has released Google Chrome version 3 which fixes the bug described in this article. Users of Google Chrome are advised to upgrade their browser as soon as possible. The original article follows:

We are aware that visitors of our website who use the Google Chrome internet browser are experiencing a problem during the new account registration process which prevents them from being able to successfully register. The issue involves the verification image used to prevent bots from creating accounts not displaying properly for Chrome users.

Unfortunately, this issue is a bug in the Chrome browser itself -- not an issue with our website. Until Google releases an update which corrects this problem, the only alternative for Chrome users who wish to register on our website is to use a different browser during the registration process.

We apologize for the inconvenience.
